Development (U9-U12)

In the Development age groups (U9-U12), there are no “cuts”. This means that any player committed to attending games and the majority of practices is welcome to be a part of the team. The commitment level required for Travel Team players during the summer season is typically 2 practices per week plus a weekday game. Half of the games (away games) will be out-of-town. All games will be within Huronia District, which encompasses an area including Alliston, Barrie, Bradford, Collingwood, Midland, and various communities within that boundary. Teams may also decide to participate in weekend tournaments, but this is up to the coaching staff to decide with the team’s agreement.

Travel Team Development Sessions Cost: $100 from January 13th to May 5th

If your son or daughter is interested in playing travel soccer this coming summer, we look forward to seeing them at the appropriate development session time starting on January 13th, 2019.

For the U9 to U12 Development Teams, registration is required for both the winter (indoor) and summer (outdoor) seasons for those athletes selected.  While attendance at the winter training sessions is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended to ensure athletes have opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills.  Regardless of attendance, all athletes must be registered for the winter sessions to be considered.  Participation at the sessions will not be permitted without confirmation of registration.

Competitive (U13-U18)

In the Competitive age groups (U13-U18), there is a potential for players to be “cut”. Players may be released at the coach’s discretion after the first four weeks.  Players who are released at that time will have any further outstanding payments cancelled.

Competitive teams will play in one of three leagues,  The Huronia District Soccer League (HDSL), The Central Soccer League (CSL or York Region Soccer League (YRSL).  Typically there is one game per week as well as two practices.  Teams may also decide to participate in weekend tournaments, but this is up to the coaching staff to decide with the team’s agreement.

Competitive Sessions Cost: $100 from January 13th until May 5th.
